Module 1

I found Module 1 interesting and informative. After reading through some of the blogs of teachers who are doing Web 2.0, I discovered some impressive blogs, full of brilliant ideas and suggestions. It is interesting and in many ways beneficial to have us put our thoughts down as we go through Web 2.0. In the same way I can see the huge benefits it is to students. My interpretation of a few ways blogging can be used; teacher to student communication, student to student or the whole class doing a particular subject.

I don't know if I will ever use blogging as my main way to communicate, but I can see and appreciate that children of all ages today can and will. I'll just have to try and get my head around it all.

Where does one start. The thought of doing Web 2.0 was a bit daunting when it was first put to me!!!. Who am I kidding, it was a lot daunting, but, onwards and upwards. All the information and videos given in Module 1 was great and I'm sure that by the time I get towards the end of the other Modules I will be feeling a lot more up to date with all things involving Blogs, Wikis etc, etc etc.
